Dear XDC Families,
At Extended Day Care, students have been busily working on Fall crafts, and of course, getting into the Halloween spirit! This week the theme was “Halloween.” Students in Extended Day Care have started making Halloween decorations and working on Halloween themed projects. This week some of the students’ favorite projects were: making pumpkin bracelets, lacing spider-webs, orange marble paintings, and a Halloween cooking project!

A look ahead at next week:
Next week, the theme is “Halloween” part two. Students will continue creating Halloween crafts and projects.
School is closed on Wednesday, October 28th, Thursday, October 29th and Friday, October 30th for conferences. XDC will be open during that week. As you may have seen on our door, the themes for those days are as follows:
• Wednesday, October 28th is “out to lunch day.” Teachers will chaperone students who want to buy lunch at Taco Del Mar during lunch time. Make sure to send money with your students and sign the permission form!
• Thursday, October 29th is “create props and decorations” for the XDC Halloween carnival.
• Friday, October 30th is “Halloween Carnival day!” A fun day filled with Halloween games and activities!

You can reach the Extended Day Care staff from 7:00 AM-6:30 PM at the following phone numbers:
