Morning XDC Pre-K News from Mrs. Flood

October 3rd-6th

Hello Preschool families!

Happy Fall! This week, afternoon Pre-K is only in session Monday-Thursday. (Extended Care will be open all day.) We will review shapes, begin a brief unit on Spiders that will continue into next week and learn the letter D.

Last Friday, we explored the phases of water. The children enjoyed playing in the water, freezing it, and then melting the frozen cubes.

This week our science unit will feature creating spider webs and a spider “discovery bottle.”

As always we will pray each day during group time and before snack and lunch; and continue to practice ways to communicate our feelings and express our emotions.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you and have a wonderful week!

Marcey Flood
