Morning XDC Preschool letter from Mrs. Flood:

Morning XDC Pre-K News!

October 10th-14th

Hello Preschool families,

Happy Monday! Hope you all enjoyed a restful weekend. This week your children will be learning the letter Ee both in morning care and afternoon preschool. Using many different mediums such as sand paper, shaving cream, and play dough the children will practice letter formation.

Our science unit will be “Fall Harvest.” We will learn about the different vegetables that grow in the fall, how they grow, and their differences and similarities. Messy pumpkin art, and fall leaf creations will adorn our bulletin board too! Lots of fun Math comes with this unit as well, such as counting seeds, grouping, and sorting. We will also continue our unit on Spiders.

As always we will pray each day during group time and before snack and lunch; and continue to practice ways to communicate our feelings and express our emotions.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you and have a wonderful week!

Marcey Flood
