After School Study Program (AFS), 2025-26

St. John School’s After School Study Program (AFS), is an extension of Extended Day Care. The program is intended to provide a supervised study/homework time to students in Middle School. This XDC study time is supervised by Ms. Mae Skokan and is held each full day of school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout the school year, from 3:05-4pm. Students are provided a snack and have 45 minutes of dedicated homework time.

Cost is $13.88 per day with the full schedule fee of $1,847. Students may attend less than the full schedule; however, families will be billed for the full schedule. Written or electronic notice of an absence must be sent to the Extended Day Care office. Written notice to cancel participation in this program must be received by the Extended Day Care office 30 days prior to the final date of attendance.

• Attendance is taken daily. Should your student not be in attendance, you will receive a phone call. If your student has a planned absence from the program, please contact the Extended Day Care office at 206-­782-­9915 with notification or email roverby@st-­johnschool.org.
• Families will be billed through FinalSite for the previous month’s tuition (September usage will appear on October billing). There are no provisions for non-­billing; should your student not be in attendance for illness, sports, etc. billing continues unless written notice of withdrawal is received. (Written notice to cancel participation in this program must be received by the Extended Day Care office 30 days prior to the final date of attendance.)
