St. John Extended Daycare is a ministry of St. John School and provides before and after school care to the children (ages 3-12 ) enrolled in St. John School, as well as those in neighborhood schools as space allows. Our mission is to see children achieve balanced growth physically, emotionally, and intellectually by creating an environment of love and trust. Hours of Operation and Daily Routine
Extended Daycare (XDC), Grades PK-5th Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm year-round with the usual holiday exceptions. Extended Daycare is available for students from age three through twelve.

FEES
Extended care fees are in addition to K-5 and preschool tuition. Additionally:
- There is an Enrollment Fee of $100 per family. This fee is non-refundable unless we are unable to accommodate your child.
- Non-school days are not part of contract fees.

REGISTRATION REQUEST FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Request to Register for the 2026-2027 School Year
Extended Day Care (XDC) is for students in grades Preschool through Five. A minimum of three (3) days per week must be requested.
Please complete the form below to request enrollment. Upon acceptance, you will be notified via email with a link to complete additional registration forms, including a contract, which must be signed and submitted.
Please return all forms and contract via email attachment (preferred) to Rachelle Overby, XDC Director, roverby@st-johnschool.org.
Note:
- All tuition is billed and paid through FinalSite. Tuition for XDC and AFS for the school year is billed in 10 monthly installments, from August 2026 through May 2027, with your school tuition pledge.
- Rates listed for Extended Daycare include only the days school is in full session. Full or partial days are available for those days during the school year that classes are not in session, for an additional charge, and must be ordered on a monthly basis – order forms are available in XDC.
- No refunds or credit will be given for contracted days missed for any reason.
- With 30 days written notice of withdrawal for cause, fees will be prorated through the 30 days after said notice

The state of Washington requires licensed daycares to have the following forms completed and on file for all students in their care. Upon acceptance, please complete the following:
- Service contract for students entering grades Preschool through Five, 2025-26
- Service contract for After School Studies (AFS) for students in Middle School 2025-26
- Registration Form
- Permission for Care
- Individual Care Plan
- Medication Authorization
- Preschool – Permission to Leave Licensed Center
- Kindergarten – Gr. 5 – Permission to Leave Licensed Center
- CIS (Certification of Immunization Status)
Instructions: If the form is a pdf, open each document, “save as” to your desktop (or click “open” in the desktop app) and title your student’s name/grade, complete the document, “save” and return to XDC as an attachment to an email to Mrs. Overby, roverby@st-johnschool.org.

Hours of Operation: 8am-6pm
The following is information for Summer XDC 2026.
Summer Camp is for students ages 3 to 13. We offer eight weeks of exploration, arts, crafts, and fun! Every week has a different theme, and each day will be filled with activities and adventures that connect to the theme.
Summer hours are 8am to 6pm. The cost is $ 68.12 per day. Select the days you wish to use. Payments will be billed over three months (May through July) to your FinalSite account on the 1st of the month before service. Once days are contracted, they are non-refundable or transferable and will only be prorated 30 days after written notification of withdrawal from summer camp.
Space is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Space will be confirmed by a contract sent to you via email.
